LNG System Won the Project of Japanese Shipowner Again

Recently, SMDERI has successfully won the bid for the LNG gas supply system project of 7000 PCTC (car truck carrier) , which is a dual-fuel vessel newly built by China Merchants Jinling Shipyard and owned by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha(KLINE), a famous Japanese shipowner. It’s the second time that our gas supply system has been chosen by the Japanese shipowner after the 7000 PCTC project of Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK).
KLINE, together with NYK and MOL,are three major shipping companies in Japan with wide influence.
In this project, our technical team of gas supply system had many in-depth technical idea-exchanges with the shipowner and provided reliable solutions that met their requirements and was endorsed by the shipowner so that we finally won the order. It confirmed our strength in new fuel supply system products, especially for PCTC dual-fuel car truck carrier. Our products not only meet the regulatory requirements, but also fully take the operational characteristics of vessel types into consideration, which means that we are able to provide convenient and fast operating systems for shipowners from every corner of the world.
