SMDERI QET
SHANGHAI QIYAO ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (SMDERI QET) is a key platform within CSSC for research and development of marine environmental protection equipment. Focusing on two main business lines, “emission control” and “energy upgrading”, SMDERI QET is committed to providing customers with comprehensive solutions for reducing greenhouse gases and pollutants emissions from ships.
Adhering to the original intention of "independence", SMDERI QET has successfully developed, applied, delivered and continuously upgraded Exhaust Gas Cleaning System (EGCs) and Selective Catalytic Reduction System (SCR). With superior quality, reliable delivery and efficient service, SMDERI QET has been highly recognized by globally renowned shipowners, shipyards and engine makers and ranked first class in the world.
Facing the green future, SMDERI QET aims at future regulations, pays attention to greenhouse gas emissions, and continues to promote research and application of new technologies. Focusing on Fuel Gas Supply System (FGSS), Carbon Capture and Storage System (CCS), Low-flashpoint Fuel Supply System (LFSS), LNG Sub-cooling System (LSC), Diesel Particle Filter (DPF), Intelligent Control by Exhaust Recycling (ICER) and Methane Oxidation Catalyst (MOC), SMDERI QET achieves a series of major breakthroughs.

1.FGSS first order --NYK7000PCTC. 2.EGC entered Korean market: EGC orders from Samsung Heavy Industries for Evergreen 15000TEU Container Vessels. 3.Completed the independent development and design of OCCS system.
2022
1.Anji Logistics 7600PCTC FGSS orders. 2.Singapore PIL 14000TEU FGSS orders. 3.LFSS received Approval in Principle from DNV. 4.LSC received Approval in Principle from DNV. 5.Completed the development of ICER system prototype. 6.LSC: the first order of 14,000m3 LNG bunkering vessel;LSC: the order of CNOOC 30,000 m3 LNG carrier retrofitting project. 7.The world's first OCCS system order covering the whole process for Evergreen 14,000 TEU Container Vessel.
2023
1.OCCS obtained AIP certificates issued by classification societies such as CCS, LR, BV and DNV, covering key ship types such as bulk carriers, oil tankers, VLGCs and container ships. 2.The world's first OCCS system newbuilding order covering the whole process for Huachen Leasing 82,000 bulk carrier. 3.ICER realized the breakthrough of the first order for MSC 16000TEU Container Vessels. 4.The first breakthrough of LFSS - China Merchants VLCC project.
