On October 21th (local time), KORMARINE 2025 officially commenced at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO). Under the theme "Innovation Drives the Future, Green Leads the Maritime Industry," the exhibition has brought together leading global maritime enterprises, experts, and buyers to explore a new future for green shipping.

SMDERI-QET attracted significant attention at the exhibition by presenting a range of independently developed cutting-edge products. Key exhibits such as Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage System (OCCS), Fuel Gas Supply System(FGSS), and LNG Sub-cooling System(LSC) comprehensively demonstrated the company’s profound technical expertise and continuous innovation capabilities in the field of marine environmental protection.

At the exhibition, Su Yi, General Manager of SMDERI-QET, stated, "KORMARINE is an important window into the Asian maritime sector and a key platform for us to showcase green technologies and expand cooperation with global clients." In recent years, SMDERI-QET has steadily advanced its international presence, with permanent service personnel and established support networks in cities including Tokyo, Rotterdam, and Singapore. The company has secured long-term collaborations with leading international shipping firms such as MSC, Evergreen , and Danaos, extending its business reach to over 30 countries and regions worldwide.

In the Korea , SMDERI-QET has also achieved multiple breakthroughs, securing projects from Samsung Heavy Industries, Hyundai Group, and Hanwha Ocean, and establishing partnerships with Korean shipping companies such as CIDO Shipping and KCH. The company has also stationed service personnel in Busan to ensure prompt support for commissioning, trial voyages, and after-sales services.

It is reported that this year's KORMARINE is expected to attract over 30,000 professional visitors, with international buyers accounting for 40% of the total. During the exhibition, SMDERI-QET engaged with clients from Korea, Japan, Singapore, Europe, and other regions, holding in-depth discussions on green ship technologies.

Over the next five years, the global shipping industry is set to experience rapid growth in green technologies, with fields such as OCCS, ammonia fuel, and intelligent monitoring platforms entering a new phase of technological iteration.
