SMDERI-QET Successfully Completes FAT for First VLAC Inert Gas Generation System

Recently, SMDElR-QET's independently developed Inert GasGeneration (lGG) system for VLAC vessels has successfully completed system performance testing and satisfactorily passed the shipyard and shipowner's acceptance. The equipment will subsequently be installed on Jiangnan Shipyard's 93,000 m3 VLAC, supporting the green transformation of the shipping industry.
As the essential safety equipment for liquid cargo carriers, SMDERI-QET's independently developed VLAC IGG system has achieved breakthroughs in key technologies including low-oxygen combustion, high-efficiency spraying, and deep drying. Capable of generating inert gas with low oxygen content (<1%), low dew point (<-40°C), and low carbon monoxide (<100 ppm).It provides inert gases that meet safety and usage standards throughout the entire cycle for the inerting of VLAC ship liquid cargo warehouses. lt has the advantages of stability, efficiency, safety, reliability, and long-term maintenancefree operation.
