Overcoming Difficulties and Escorting Ship's Efficient Operation
On the MSC OSCAR, SMDERI-QET's team of engineers - Fan Wenbin, Wu Yan, Tang Haofeng and Wang Zhenhua - responded quickly to the requirements of the EGCs project, and with their profound professional skills, they worked overtime to complete the system repair on time. Not only that, they also took the initiative to train the crew on equipment operation and troubleshooting skills to ensure the stable operation of the ship.
At the engine testbed workshop of Duokai Diesel Engine (Jingjiang) SMDERI-QET's high-pressure SCR system has performed excellently and helped to successfully deliver the first Everllence B&W 6S40ME-C9.5-HPSCR main engine. When the system is running at full load, the NOx reduction is over 85%, far exceeding the regulatory requirements. Project engineers Jiang Xiaoxin and An Xionghui worked around the clock during the commissioning process, not only ensured that the project was completed on schedule, but also patiently guided the on-site personnel to familiarise themselves with the operation of the equipment, and won high praise for their professional competence and meticulous service.

During the maiden voyage of SAIC Anji Prestige, Liu Shuo, a service engineer, followed the voyage, explained the fuel refuelling process and emergency treatment plan to the crew in detail, and carried out systematic training. His solid technical skills and high sense of responsibility ensured the successful completion of the vessel's maiden voyage and demonstrated SMDERI-QET's service concept of "client first".
In the delivery of the first 7G80ME C10.5 LGIM + EGRTC1 main engine of Dalian Marine Diesel Co., Ltd, Sales Manager Wu Qiang and his team made every effort to coordinate the resources and provide a solid guarantee for the project to be completed on schedule. The client specifically mentioned in the thank you letter, "Agile supply chain and innovative cooperation model are the key enablers for us to achieve the goal of producing 100 main engines per year."
